Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language or display preferences) over a period of time, so that you don't have to re-enter them on each visit. This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (local storage) Bartenderfy uses, for what purpose, and how you can manage them.
2. Types of cookies we use
2.1. Strictly necessary cookies
Essential for the operation of the Platform. Without them we could not offer you basic services such as logging in, keeping your session active, securely processing payments or remembering your cookie consent. They do not require your consent.
- sb-access-token / sb-refresh-token — authentication session managed by Lovable Cloud (Supabase).
- btf-cookie-consent — stores your choice on cookies.
- btf-locale — remembers your language preference.
- Temporary storage of the OAuth flow state during sign-in with Google.
2.2. Functionality cookies
They allow remembering options that improve your experience (visual theme, layout, recent searches, onboarding checklist progress). They are only activated if you accept them.
2.3. Analytics cookies
They help us understand how the Platform is used in an aggregated and anonymous way, to improve the product. They are only activated with your express consent.
2.4. Third-party cookies
Some providers set their own cookies when you use certain features:
- Stripe: security and fraud prevention during payment (embedded checkout and billing portal).
- Lovable Cloud / Supabase: session, authentication and OAuth broker for Google sign-in.
- Google: cookies set during the OAuth flow when you choose to sign in with your Google account.
These cookies are governed by each provider's privacy policy.
3. Cookie management
When you visit Bartenderfy for the first time we show you a banner from which you can:
- Accept all: enable necessary, functionality and analytics cookies.
- Essentials only: enable only strictly necessary cookies.
- Manage: granularly choose which categories you accept.
You can change your choice at any time from your panel or by deleting the cookies in your browser. Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies from their settings. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Platform from working properly.
4. Retention
The duration of each cookie varies: session cookies are deleted when you close the browser, while persistent ones can remain for up to 12 months, unless you delete them manually beforehand.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect technical or legal changes. The "last updated" date will always indicate when the last changes were made. If the changes affect categories that require consent, we will ask for your choice again.
